It’s been awhile since I have posted — yes, I have been quite busy. Some days are up, some days down. I thought today would be a nice time to share some smiles – animal smiles. There’s something so simple and wonderful about an animal smile. Funny, yes. Cute, yes. And it just makes me feel good. So please enjoy some animal smiles.

My wife always gives me a hard time because the toe after my big toe is longer than my big toe (although it’s not as bad as she makes it out to be). Perhaps my feet are not the most beautiful in the world. Good news is for me and others with ugly and funny feet, I bet yours are not nearly as bad as some of these!

Now that second toe is definitely a lot longer.
How does he even wear shoes?

Anyone seen the nail clippers?
I just can’t seem to find them.

Those Crazy Monkeys

I remember going to the zoo as a kid and my favorite exhibit was always the monkeys. I recall at least one time going and seeing the monkeys and peeing my pants (yes, peeing my pants). I think it was when I saw the monkeys with the big pink butts start slinging their poop. Nonetheless, monkeys are a funny bunch and I thought it might be nice to show a few funny shots. You may not pee your pants, but hopefully you have a good laugh.

Can I Bum A Smoke?

Okay, so not your typical post for me, but I found it humorous. In our tough economy, there are more and more people that you might classify as homeless or bums. I am not poking fun of these folks. I know times are tough and rough times can happen to anyone.

So today a homeless person comes up to me as I am smoking a Swisher Sweet Little Cigar -don’t ask why I smoke these, it’s a long story. They look like cigarettes, but are actually little cigars. The man simply asks, “got an extra smoke?”. I say sure. I grab a Swisher Sweet from the pack in my pocket and offer it to him. He takes one look and turns his back and walks away. No, “I am not interested”. No, “not my brand”. Nothing. He just walks away. I feel so rejected. I can’t even offer a smoke to a homeless person without being rejected.

Lazy Lawnmowing

I actually enjoy mowing the lawn. It’s an escape for me. But apparently some people are just too lazy. This breads opportunity for entrepreneurs like Rent-a-Ruminant.com. For a couple hundred bucks they will bring 60 goats to your yard or field, fence them in and let them go to town. After a few days, all the grass and weeds are trimmed and cleared.

So the recipe is simple – Take about 60 of these guys.

Fence them in and let them eat, eat, eat.

Before you know it, your once overgrow lot is all nice and pretty.

Hump Day Inspiration

Today being hump day (Wednesday) I wanted to find something good to post. Something truly funny. Kicking the Habit is Hard

Ok. So I started smoking young. Really young – perhaps 8 or 9 I’d guess. I am not proud of it and still haven’t kicked the habit. But, now I have a new appreciation for starting young. This baby in Indonesia started at 18 months and by 24 months was smoking 2 packs a day (yes, two packs). I have so many questions to ask – where did he get the cigarettes? Who lit them for him? Why?

Fortunately, he has apparently now kicked the habit. But wow. I am in shock.

Here he is, just riding on his truck, enjoying a drag or two.

I am suprised he hasn’t learned to blow smoke rings yet…

Tired of Sitting on the Potty?

When I was a kid, my friend’s younger sister was jealous that us boys could stand up and use the potty. We once caught her trying to potty like a boy — standing up. It was obviously a messy ordeal. But thankfully, she outgrew her desire to stand and go potty. But there are some girls out there who still wish the could.

A company has even invented a kit to help these girls live their dream — peeing while standing.
I guess if there’s a need, there’s a good invention waiting to be made.
