Feeding tigers in China
I shall warn, the sight is not good very much for look, sorry cow. Amateur photographer Chris Geddes says that it all began peacefully. After a short walk to the zoo, where were the traditional cells and a few spacious enclosures, visitors were loaded into six buses. Began to tour the park. “On the way we saw lions and tigers, which are mostly sleeping in the shade of trees beside the road. But 20 minutes later buses formed a ring in the open field, we were joined by several jeeps employees park. There is no doubt that this event is expected, because a group of five tigers immediately appeared from the bush. “Predators immediately threw live chickens and pheasants, and they quickly got rid of them. So what happened next, was very much scary. Place feeding truck drove up and threw tigers live cow.

Why is this disgusting, disturbing, etc? They’re tigers! They do this in the wild and its not disgusting, its natural. So what if someone is making money off tigers eating? Kids get fed tonight because their dad dump a cow out for some tigers to eat; the kids are happy, the tigers are happy, the customers are happy, and the cow is dead and has no opinion on the subject. Those tigers are being kept wild, being allowed some sort of freedom, and that’s a great thing.

Yes, tigers feed on other animals in the wild where the laws of nature prevail. Zoos are unnatural, the laws of nature do not apply to either predators or prey. This is a money making machine that is tampering with nature and should not be considered entertainment or a natural behavior. It’s the idiots that pay to keep such places operational that are to blame.
Bloody insane and inhuman. No contest that tigers do what they do and that’s awesome, but to place them in a zoo and condemn a cow to a show to gruesome death and call it OK or natural is something which only screwed up Chinese can find reasonable. In the wild freedom the same tigers have their own natural boundaries and preys and choices enforced by their environs and nature and not some fsick in the head demented blokes with biz on their minds…..imagine if by mistake a human is exposed to these tigers, they would do exactly what they do with the cattle in a zoo, but in the wild these same tigers would exercise their options and maybe just walk off. All of this is just uncivilized and shows how much of indignity these people actually cause to the wildlife , be it the tigers or other zoo animals and its terrible to see cow die such a inglorious death to feed the blood thirsty psyche of the Chinese blots.
It may be inhuman, but tigers aren’t human. The cow could be traditionally slaughtered and fed to the tigers (or us) or it could make money for a zoo, which is ideally putting the money back into animal care. It does suck that the cow should have to suffer unnecessarily though. I won’t argue that. Plus, this just reinforces the perception that the Chinese lack compassion for animals.

This really isn’t any more inhumane than the way we treat cows in our factory farms. The only difference is that we’re feeding ourselves.
I totally agree with Ujjal, Go watch a documentary called “shock in Asia”…I would rather be this cow then be a dog or a cat in the hands of these chinese, asian whatever…They are discusting..They aren’t human they are from a completely different planet…They have no morals whatsoever…This would not suprise me one little bit…Poor cow at least it died in less pain then most of the animals in these countries…Have you seen the way they prepare a cat or a dog for someone in their resturant??This is sad but i was boiling my eyes out…Do you wonder why so much disease in this world???only one place that that comes from…These idiots eat anything that moves….
I wonder what happens when I go on this tour with my hunting rifle and shoot some tigers….

WOW. You bleeding heart tree huggers are hilarious. How about you go and ask the Tiger in person how he feels about being in a zoo. Pretty sure the steady meals, lack of territorial battles, and no poaching will come up in the conversation right before they do what Tigers do and rip your face off. Notice how it’s mostly women that are upset by this. lol.
GK, Tigers don’t eat grass any more than we humans do. They eat meat and in their natural habitat they do hunt and eat their prey totally on a need basis. However the issue here is that since we have taken these beautiful cats out of their natural environs, everything is misplaced and its only the Chinese who could turn this normal feeding into a ticketed gory bloodbath for their own demented voyeuristic pleasure. Nothing would be wrong here, if meat is fed to the tigers as is done worldwide and if commercializing every kill made by tigers is of utmost important for these demented people, it would be better that they give a king size territory to these wonderful cats and let let a natural habitat evolve with its own food chain of herbivores. That would be more dignified and we as humans would really have a claim to have evolved.
That is one of the most cruel and disgusting things I’ve ever seen!!!! I’d like to turn those vicious coldhearted chinese people into cows and see how they like being up against 4 or 5 tigers unable to defend themselves!! Eugghhhh i hate the way they treat animals….they either do horrible things like that to poor innocent animals like cows or they turn on the tigers, strip them of their fur and eat them or say it’s for medicinal purposes…total bullshit!! They have no feeling whatsoever when it comes to animals and I really wish I’d never seen these pictures, I feel upset now thinking of the poor animals that this must happen reguarly to and not just cows but like claudia said cats and dogs that we treasure as pets and companions but what they butcher alive and make suffer without any mercy! I really don’t wanna think about it anymore, it just frustrates me that I can’t change their mentality towards these poor creatures and know that out there it’s happening as i’m typing this.
This goes out to Eric, Its not a question of being a woman or a man, on a e-forum specially on a subject as this but its rather just to be humans (Civilized ones at that). What’s basically wrong is not with the Tigers and neither with the cows. Its the ability of Chinese gooks who are able to create some appalling gore and ticket it. As a naturalist my take is that tigers and cows need to be in their natural habitats respectively and after that if a tiger feels the need to encroach on human settlements to bag a cow, I would certainly be surprised. If the cow has to be in a zoo, feed it with meat as zoos all over the world do and spare the carnage for voyeuristic pleasures coupled with commerce. The cow finally ending on a human plate too is not being debated here. As Tia rightly says the tiger in turn could end up on a Chinese plate as everything else that moves does. However its a question of not what they do, but rather how they do it,which throws up the crap they have in their mind and souls.
