Old Vintage Soap Ads
In this site you will see some ads for soaps that are simply hilarious. It is hard to think that nobody laughed at them back them no matter how many years ago they were made. Some of them even border on racism where a child asks a black one why his mother doesn’t use a particular soap on him. If some of these ads were used today, they would definitely have large groups protesting against them for racism.
The cartoons are just plain funny and seeing all of them at one place will definitely crack you up. We no longer have entire paragraphs written about products as the ads now only use punch lines which are more effective and are remembered better as well. Nobody would bother reading essays about soaps now anyway, except for a good laugh maybe. They also have soaps for clothes which are almost non existent now with the advent of washing machines.
